Proposed development of the historic Monti's La Casa Viega site in downtown tempe. The site is home to the oldest continously occupied structure in the valley, the Charles Trumbull Hayden home (an adobe structure) built in 1871, and now home to Monti's La Cas Viega Steakhouse. This development plan will keep this historic structure, but add a 26 story condo tower and a 25 story condo/hotel tower. The hotel could have as many as 300 suites, and the condo tower as many as 230 homes.
