The City took a dry river bed and made Tempe Town Lake out of it. The Lake now has a marina, hi rise condos, and a park, with mega-developments planned.

The City has Mill Avenue, a high energy downtown that has shopping, eating, businesses, and places to live. The City is on the new light rail system that can take you to the airport and downtown Phoenix.
