STAGING OR INTERIOR DECORATING OF YOUR HOME

Staging your home, or getting it ready:

  1. GLAMORIZE your Curb Appeal!!
Whether it is all new sod, fresh landscaping, new exterior design, landscaping lights, or something as simple as an updated  modern front door and handle, CURB APPEAL is paramount to getting buyers through YOUR front door.
  2. Make a Memorable Entrance
The minute a potential buyer walks in the door, they should think "looks good" or "wow", and "smells good". Put an over-sized mirror in your entry or a dramatic piece of artwork. Fresh flowers and scented candles go a long way for this important first impression.
  3. Make the Master Bath look like a "5-Star Hotel"
  4. Less is MORE!  Take away all that "clutter" so buyers can really see the space, and picture their furniture in your home!
  5. Keep it clean and neat.   Keep those windows clean especially if you have "views".
  6. Create the Illusion of Space.  Remove extraneous furnishings - pack away about 50% of what you have in your rooms to create that "space".
  7. Light it up!  Whenever the home is being shown, make sure that EVERY light in the home is ON!  Buyers respond to light and bright.  If needed, buy additional lighting or open the curtains a bit wider!
  8. Remove all those items purchased over 10 years ago from your home.  This has the effect or removing "dated" items making your home look old and tired!

The pictures and renderings in this website are examples of local style and architecture only in order to give prospective buyers an idea of what our area looks and feels like. Most of the pictures or write ups do not constitute an offer to sell the particular properties, nor does their inclusion on this site infer that I have a legal agreement to sell or market those properties. My "listed" properties are on the local MLS and on REALTOR.com.
