Interesting Information

Talk about growth! Maricopa grew 596 percent in the 2004-2007 period! Nearly 50 percent of the residents commute 21-30 miles into the valley each day for work. Located 20 miles south of Phoenix, what was once an avid agricultural producing area is now home to a growing number of homes, with the population expected to be 185,000 by 2025! However the recession of 2008/09 has had the effect of stopping that growth for a few years.  Experts tell us it will start growing again, but at this point nobody has a clue when that will be.

Maricopa got its start as "Maricopa Wells", a stage stop for the Butterfeild Overland Stage Lines between San Diego and San Antonio. The railroad (Southern Pacific, now Union Pacific) went in south of the stage stop and the community grew up around it.

The pictures and renderings in this website are examples of local style and architecture only in order to give prospective buyers an idea of what our area looks and feels like. Most of the pictures or write ups do not constitute an offer to sell the particular properties, nor does their inclusion on this site infer that I have a legal agreement to sell or market those properties. My "listed" properties are on the local MLS and on REALTOR.com.
