Interesting Information

Goodyear was founded in 1917 by Paul Litchfield of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. The company purchased land to grow "egyptian" cotton for their tires. The area was first known as "Egypt". Today, Goodyear is a growing suburb with the population expected to increase to 162,673 by 2020, and to 334,652 by 2030.

Goodyear is just south of Luke Air Force Base, the largest fighter training base in the world with 38,000 flights per year. Goodyear is home to the 19,800 acre Estrella Mountain Regional Park with golf, 33 miles of trails, ramada's, and 2 lighted ball fields. Goodyear at present has eight-18 Hole Golf Courses and 95 miles of bike paths. The Phoenix-Goodyear Airport on 803 acres is home to 175 aircraft and has an 8,500 Ft. runway.

Summer 2011 Update - Westcor had announced they will begin work on the new Regional Mall in Goodyear called Estrella Falls.  It will be located on 107 acres and at this time will have Macy's and Dillard's, with others to be announced.  Due to the economic conditions, the Regional Mall is now delayed, more info later.

The pictures and renderings in this website are examples of local style and architecture only in order to give prospective buyers an idea of what our area looks and feels like. Most of the pictures or write ups do not constitute an offer to sell the particular properties, nor does their inclusion on this site infer that I have a legal agreement to sell or market those properties. My "listed" properties are on the local MLS and on REALTOR.com.
