Interesting Information

Named for Cave Creek, the small stream that runs through the area. In 1870 the U.S. Army built the 1st Wagon Road across the area from Ft. McDowell to Ft Whipple (near Prescott). In 1873 Cave Creek Road was built to connect Phoenix with this Wagon Road. By 1874 Gold was discovered on Gold Hill just north of Cave Creek which touched off a gold rush to the area. The first Post Office was built in 1877, and by 1886 a one-room school house was built beside Cave Creek. Mini population booms also occurred in the 1930's during the building of Bartlet Dam, and again in the 1940's during the building of Horseshoe Dam. It wasn't until 1952 that Cave Creek Road was paved all of the way from Phoenix in 1986 the year the town was incorporated.

The pictures and renderings in this website are examples of local style and architecture only in order to give prospective buyers an idea of what our area looks and feels like. Most of the pictures or write ups do not constitute an offer to sell the particular properties, nor does their inclusion on this site infer that I have a legal agreement to sell or market those properties. My "listed" properties are on the local MLS and on REALTOR.com.
