Interesting Information

Avondale was started by a William "Billy" Moore, when he arrived in the area around 1880. He called the area "Coldwater", bought land, erected a Saloon/General Store, and even was Postmaster from 1901-1905. The "Coldwater" Post Office moved to a site near Avondale Ranch, and the name was eventually changed to Avondale. By 1946 the City was Incorporated.

Today Avondale is a growing city with the population expected to increase to 125,000 by 2030. Avondale is home to the Phoenix International Raceway, which is home to many NASCAR events, including the Checker Auto Parts 500 NASCAR Winston Cup Series, which is the largest One-Day sporting event in Arizona.

The pictures and renderings in this website are examples of local style and architecture only in order to give prospective buyers an idea of what our area looks and feels like. Most of the pictures or write ups do not constitute an offer to sell the particular properties, nor does their inclusion on this site infer that I have a legal agreement to sell or market those properties. My "listed" properties are on the local MLS and on REALTOR.com.
