One Scottsdale, a mixed use development on the NE corner of Scottsdale Road and the Loop 101 which will be home to the Dial Corp when their new headquarters building is completed this December, is delaying most of the remainder of the project according to the 11/2/2008 Phoenix Business Journal.  The developer, DMB stated that the project will not be completed in 2011 as originally announced, and they also did NOT announce a new timeline.  This project was to be an Urban Living environment, combining office, residential, retail, and some entertainment venues.  The residential components are pending the outcome of DMB's negotiations with builders, and the state of the real estate and financial sectors in our once vibrant economy.  Once again, this is not a surprise to anyone in the field, since most developers cannot get financing, and the sales numbers do not justify starting new projects at this time.
